My parents never read bedtime stories to me; instead, they played audiobooks. My brothers and I were addicted to a series of 365 Chinese fairy tales — every night we had a new adventure. This is how I bonded with audio-based media. At the thought of crafting audio experiences for kids, I'm thrilled!

My manager once described me as a talented and enthusiastic product designer who approaches design challenges with an open mind. And I agree with her! A snapshot of my work style? Having complex problems to solve gets me up every morning. On my current team, I design for a complicated IoT ecosystem that requires systems thinking across 3 different platforms (digital and physical). One of my most important contributions to this team was being able to create a detailed user experience that factors in all the critical nuances in each level of the system for multiple user groups from entry points. Building an audio ecosystem across 7+ surfaces is nothing simpler than designing for an IoT system.
